Work Experience
Human Resources – Internship
Working as an enthusiastic and driven HR Intern to assist the HR department with retention and recruitment efforts. The HR Intern’s responsibilities include helping identify core competencies for Do it Best Corp., modernizing job descriptions, completing projects, initiating post-offer background checks, and providing suitable recommendations to improve HR processes.
Throughout my time as a Human Resources Intern, I conducted interviews, utilized applicant tracking systems, developed divisional core competencies, and revised job descriptions. In doing so, I collaborated cross-divisionally and with the HR team to accomplish my projects, and presented my work to executive leadership, earning the first-ever LevelUp Scholarship from Do it Best Corp.
United Way of Huntington – Campaign Student Director Intern
As a student director intern, I am responsible for executing the annual United Way Campaign through partnerships with local industry campaign chairs, management, and employees. I also work to also engage current and potential donors and volunteers in active relationships during the non-campaign season. As part of the United Way team, my role is essential to developing and implementing United Way’s strategies to engage donors and improve its revenue position. This role requires the ability to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
Walmart – eCommerce
Shop for the Ecommerce department by organizing groceries based on customer and product, working with a team to complete daily tasks, and providing superb customer service
Belle’s Italian Grille – Waiter
Communicate with kitchen, servers, and customers to service quality Italian food
Decatur Force Volleyball Club – Coaching
During my time as a coach, I plan practices, discern tournament opportunities, and communicate with girls and their parents about times, snacks, plans, etc. It is my goal to serve to meet the needs of the girls I coach, emphasizing skills that they would like to build, and help them best pursue their volleyball goals.
Professional Volleyball – Team Pineapple: Volleyball League of America
